When I Grow Up
When I grow up I am want to be a major league baseball player. If I don’t get picked I will get a regular job. I am going to play for the Detroit Tigers it (it doesn’t really matter though). I want to either be a catcher, pitcher, or a first baseman. If I’m a pitcher I want to learn how to throw the fastball, knuckleball, curveball, and the change up. To throw the knuckleball you need to hold it a certain way and push the ball. To throw the curveball you need to put two fingers on top of the ball and your thumb on the bottom and when you throw it move your hand to the left. To throw the change up make the batter think your throwing it fast then throw it just a little bit slower than the batter would think it would go. To play baseball you need four bases, a bat, a ball, glove, helmet and one of the four bases is home plate.

When I Grow Up published draft
When I grow up I want to be a major league baseball player. The reason
I want to a major league baseball player is because when I was little my dad used to pitch the ball to me and I loved it a lot. That’s why I want to be a major league baseball player. If I don’t make it to the majors I will probably work for my dad in retirement planning. If I do get to be a professional baseball player I will want to be a first baseman, catcher, pitcher, or second baseman. If I am a pitcher I will want to learn how to throw a fastball, knuckleball, curveball, and a changeup. To throw the knuckleball you have to hold the ball a certain way and push the ball. To throw the curveball you put your ring finger and your index finger on the top and the thumb on the bottom of the ball and then you slide your hand to the left (if you are right handed) and slide it to the right (if you are left handed.) I will practice baseball about three times a week. I will hire a pitching coach (if I am a pitcher.) To play baseball you need four bases, (one of them is home plate) a bat,
a ball, a glove, and a helmet. I love baseball so much I hit a double against a ten year older (in an organized league.) One day when I get to the majors (if I do) I hope to be hitting lots of doubles against the big leaguers.
